A tool for placing chopsticks on a tabletop. It is used to prevent the chopsticks from rolling or the part of the chopsticks that touches the food from touching other objects.
I preside over the creative chopstick rest studio "Ihoshiro Kiln" and produce more than 500 kinds of chopstick rests, the largest number in Japan. We do not use mass production or machine processing methods, but produce each piece by hand. Generally, gas is used for firing ceramics, but we have installed a solar power generation system on the roof of our company building to fire ceramics using electricity (calculated due to the difference between the power generation and receiving systems).
